Examination Guidelines

Official instructions and examination-office procedures for the Final Examination — August 2026.

Registration Deadline

Wednesday, 12 August 2026 — before 12:00 midnight

Registration Procedure

  1. Open New Registration and enter your name, admission number, batch and phone number.
  2. Upload a recent passport-size photograph (JPG or PNG, maximum 4 MB).
  3. Verify the subject list loaded for your batch and deselect only if instructed by the office.
  4. Examination fee is ₹10 per registered subject and is calculated automatically.
  5. Choose Online or Offline payment. For online payment, enter the payment reference / UTR and upload the payment proof.
  6. Accept the declaration and submit. Save the Registration ID shown on the acknowledgement.
  7. The Examination Office verifies the fee and approves the registration. The Hall Ticket then becomes available in the portal for official view/print access; PDF copies are issued by the office.

Official Examination Rules

  1. 1

    Pass Requirement

    Minimum 70% in each subject. Subject total is 120 marks; pass mark is 84/120.

  2. 2

    Mark Distribution

    WE – Written Examination 80; VV – Viva Voce 20; CA – Continuous Assessment 20; Total 120.

  3. 3

    Continuous Assessment (CA)

    Based on semester academic performance, consistency, participation, discipline, class response, and subject performance.

  4. 4

    Compulsory Viva Voce

    Viva is compulsory. The examination period is 2 Hours 15 Minutes and 30 minutes is allocated for Viva Voce as per institutional arrangement. Batch/subject viva should be completed as arranged after the relevant examination.

  5. 5

    Examination Fee

    ₹10 per subject per student. Total fee is calculated by the number of registered subjects.

  6. 6

    Exam Registration

    The prescribed examination fee and registration must be completed before the Wednesday night 12:00 midnight deadline.

  7. 7

    Eligibility

    Subject to institutional academic requirements, attendance, fee payment, and internal requirements.

  8. 8

    Reporting Time

    Students must reach the examination hall sufficiently before each session. Late entry is not permitted according to institutional instruction.

  9. 9

    Examination Materials

    Answer booklet and additional sheets are provided by the institution. Unauthorized papers, notes, books, mobile phones and smart devices are prohibited.

    Malpractice

    Copying, unauthorized assistance, exchanging answer sheets, prohibited materials, impersonation, and disobeying examination/invigilator instructions are treated as malpractice and may lead to action.

    Answer Script Rules

    Write the Register Number and other required details correctly on the answer booklet. Use only the identifiers/details instructed by the Examination Office.

  12. 12

    Invigilator Instructions

    Instructions given by the invigilator must be followed. Students may not leave the hall before permission.

  13. 13

    Supplementary / Re-Examination Eligibility

    Overall aggregate threshold remains 80%. An individual subject is failed below 70%. Eligible students may be permitted re-examination for up to 2 failed subjects under institutional rules.

  14. 14

    Re-Examination Result

    Relevant subjects must be passed in the permitted re-examination for next-semester progression.

  15. 15

    Semester Promotion Rule

    All required subjects of the current semester must be cleared. An uncleared subject can affect next-semester promotion.

  16. 16

    Result Approval

    WE + VV + CA marks are officially consolidated and the final result is published only after Examination Committee / Academic Authority approval.

  17. 17

    Absence

    Without valid permission, absence is recorded as Absent for that subject. Special/re-examination permission is determined by the competent academic authority.

  18. 18

    Disputes / Corrections

    Clerical errors in mark entry, result calculation, or subject entry must be reported to the Examination Office within the institutionally prescribed time.

  19. 19

    Final Authority

    The Examination Committee / Academic Authority is final for examination conduct, viva arrangement, re-examination eligibility, malpractice, result publication, and promotion.

Examination Hall Instructions

  1. Report at least 30 minutes before the examination.
  2. Bring this hall ticket and a valid institutional identity card.
  3. Students without a valid hall ticket may not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
  4. Mobile phones, smart watches, electronic devices, notes, books, unauthorized papers/materials are prohibited.
  5. Follow all directions of the invigilator and examination authority.
  6. Maintain silence and discipline inside the examination hall.
  7. Do not communicate with other candidates during the examination.
  8. Write the Register Number / required details correctly on the answer booklet before starting.
  9. Students must remain seated until permitted to leave by the invigilator.
  10. Any malpractice may result in disciplinary action under institutional examination rules.
